We will do a roof inspection and take a ton of photos. We will then show you our findings and recommend if we think it would be adequate for a storm damage insurance claim.
Having a good relationship with our local insurance adjusters helps us to provide an even better customer service for the home owners as we know what to expect with each insurance company.
Legally, we are not allowed to start the claim for you. Nor are we legally allowed to do the claim for you. Our job is to provide you with all necessary documentation, photos, estimates, and shingle/siding reports to help you justify why your roof/siding needs to be replaced. Insurance companies are becoming a little more difficult to work with so it is important for you as the homeowner to have all the proper documentation needed to prove why your roof/siding needs to be replaced.
Building code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and proper roofing material/accessories are requirements that we have to adhere to when installing your new roof/siding. Sometimes, adjuster do not understand this. Therefore, if they need to contact us regarding your claim we would be more than happy to talk with them.
Due to bad experiences with adjusters lying in the past, we really like to keep communication in email with the insurance adjusters and homeowners included on every email. Therefore, both Scott Bauer Roofing and the insurance adjusters are held accountable with their words.
