The National Museum of the US Air Force is the official museum of the United States Air Force and is located at 1100 Spaatz St, Dayton, OH 45433. It is the oldest military aviation museum in the world and has 360 airplanes and missiles on display.

The Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive center is located at the original site where Wilbur & Orville Wright first conducted tests for airplanes. A reproduction of a 1942 standard control tower is located on the museum grounds of Air Park. The control tower served as the flow control center for the American and British forces during World War II. It was typically a two-story structure, with one floor occupied by a weather detachment and the other by the flight controllers. Both areas were responsible for providing weather information and directing takeoffs and landings.
