The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is a great place to take the kids to explore science and learn more about the world around them. It is located at 2600 Deweese Pkwy, Dayton, OH 45414. Visitors of all ages can enjoy hands-on experiences, interactive stations, and planetarium shows. Children can also adopt an animal. In addition to the adopt-an-animal program, the museum offers an interactive aquatic exhibit.


The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is a children's museum, science/technology center, and accredited zoo. Visitors can explore a wide variety of exhibits ranging from the natural world to robotics, space travel, and technology. The museum also features more than 60 animals native to the Ohio area.

Whether you're traveling with children or adults, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is an excellent place to learn about the natural world. Located in Dayton, Ohio, the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is a great place to spend an afternoon. Guests can also visit the dinosaur exhibit, which will be on display until Aug. 20, 2017. While there, visitors can learn about the extinction of dinosaurs by viewing dinosaur bones. The museum also offers exhibits about space exploration, including a roller coaster in the Caryl D. Philips Space Theater. In addition, visitors can feed a sloth, take a sloth selfie, and even create their own enrichment item for the animals.

Another interesting part of the museum is the Tidal Pool, which includes live marine invertebrates. The Tidal Pool exhibit is staffed by a museum employee or volunteer. The museum also has a Digistar II planetarium. At Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, families can take part in daily activities and tours.

Admission to the museum is free, but you can make a donation if you wish. Special programs and exhibits may require additional fees. Wheelchairs and strollers are available for visitors, and guided tours are available with advance registration. You can also take a self-guided tour of the museum using an iPad. The tour uses a QR reader to guide you through the museum's permanent collection.
